Driving pleasure
No noise, no vibration, careful acoustic insulation from the road and the outside world, notably thanks to laminated front and rear windows: on board the C5 X Plug-in Hybrid, the driving experience reaches an ultimate level of comfort and silence.
The two engines join forces to provide smooth movement of the car. The ë-EAT8 electrified automatic transmission, fast and efficient, enhances driving pleasure with immediately available torque.

4 DRIVING MODES
The selector positioned on the central console allows you to choose the driving mode: Electric, Hybrid, Comfort or Sport. The Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension control continuously adapts to each driving mode.
- Electric: The car has a range of up to 63 km, suitable for the majority of users' daily journeys. So many kilometers traveled without consuming fuel.
- Hybrid: Management between the electric motor and the combustion engine is done automatically, for optimal efficiency.
- Comfort: Based on Hybrid mode, this driving mode offers additional flexibility thanks to Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension.
- Sport: C5 The Citroën Advanced Comfort® Active Suspension then becomes firmer for better road holding.
SIMPLE RECHARGE
- The charging cables are stored in a dedicated location under the trunk floor.
- The charging hatch, located at the left rear of the car, includes a light diode to monitor the charging process, which can also be viewed remotely on the My Citroën application.
- When the car is driving in electric mode, a blue indicator light comes on under the central mirror, clearly visible from the outside, to be spotted in traffic, particularly in urban centers where access is restricted.
- Recharging can be programmed using the touchscreen tablet or the My Citroën application to take advantage of off-peak rates, for example.
CHARGING SOLUTIONS
In town or at home, depending on your needs, you have several solutions for recharging your C5 X Rechargeable Hybrid:
- Wall Box: With the optional mode 3 cable, it allows charging from 0 to 100% in 3h25 (16A) and in 1h40 (32A) with the optional 7.4 kW on-board charger.
- Available on public roads and certain car parks, the Wall Box can also be installed at your home.
- Reinforced 14A Green’Up type socket: The battery recharges in 3h55 with the optional reinforced mode 2 cable.
- Standard 8A domestic socket: The battery recharges to 100% in 7h05 with the standard mode 2 cable.

Plug-in hybrid specific screens
In the plug-in hybrid version, C5 X has screens dedicated to driving in electric mode:
- The digital handset allows you to view the state of charge or battery life and access the power indicator and energy flows.
