Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen completes the Citroën range of light utility vehicles. Its architecture combining hydrogen fuel cell and battery provides the van with the best of both technologies.
With Citroën Ë-Jumpy Hydrogen, Citroën offers the widest electrified range to meet the new needs of professionals. 100% of the Citroën utility range will be electrified in 2021, with ë-Jumpy already on the roads and My Ami Cargo, ë-Berlingo Van, ë-Jumpy Hydrogen and ë-Jumper, which will arrive in the second half of the year. Faced with new environmental and societal challenges, Citroën is deploying new energies in 2021 with Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen. An electric van with fuel cells and rechargeable batteries, it is the first model to introduce this new energy. The integration of the different components has been studied so that their size does not impact the loading capacity of the vehicle. Citroën Ë-Jumpy Hydrogen offers a range of more than 400 km.
Its three 700 bar carbon fiber hydrogen tanks are placed near the battery under the front seats and fill in just 3 minutes. Citroën Ë-Jumpy Hydrogen is entirely electric. It benefits from a 45 kW fuel cell which produces electricity by consuming hydrogen and a 10.5 kW battery which takes over automatically when the hydrogen tank is empty. The battery recharges automatically using electricity produced by the hydrogen fuel cell or by plugging its cable into a terminal dedicated to electric vehicles.
